Pest-Free Environments
The PSB Operations Department follows Integrated Pest Management (IPM), a proactive approach that focuses on prevention and environmentally responsible pest control methods.
IPM plans are in place at each school to ensure safe environments for students and staff. Pest sightings should be recorded in the IPM logbook located in each school’s main office.
Senior custodians review logbooks daily and coordinate responses through the Building Services Department. Full IPM plans are available in school offices and are updated annually in coordination with the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources.
